Happy Mamelodi kids – Mamelodi is a township located in Gauteng Province and is part of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.

The Magaliesberg Mountain borders it on the northern and eastern sides and the Pretoria-Witbank highway on the south. Mamelodi is build on a farm in Vlakfontein.

The name changed in the late 1950’s to Mamelodi. That was the name given to president Paul Kruger by the Blacks because of his ability to whistle and imitate birds. Mamelodi also means ‘Father of Melodies’.
