Old farm gate Clarens – The picturesque Eastern Free State town of Clarens is situated at the foot of Mount Horeb.  It is surrounded by the beautiful Rooiberge, with the mighty Maluti’s off to the south-east.

It was established in 1912 and named after the town of Clarens in Switzerland where exiled Paul Kruger spent his last days. Wikipedia

The old farm gate  was on a farm closer to Fouriesburg.
