Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa 2019 lifestyle shoot

Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa 2019 – photoshoot with
semi-finalist Jacolien de Bruyn

Early start

Friday was my Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa 2019, photoshoot with semi-finalist Jacolien de Bruyn.

It was 4:30am when I left Pretoria. Not a minute to early to miss the morning traffic. N1, N3, N12, R59 and finally Meyerton. It was 5:30am and the search for coffee began. Thanks to the Sasol garage and a good coffee machine, I could start the cold morning fresh and awake.

I met Jacolien at her home where I was warmly welcomed by her and her husband. Real people, down to earth, animal lovers.

The search began

Jacolien and myself ventured of to find that perfect spot for her outdoor shoots.

I suppose, you don’t need much – just a lot of creativity and a person like Jacolien that loves to have fun. And fun we had!

Setting up the mobile studio

From there we went back to her house to put up the mobile studio. I think their sitting room took a while after that to return to normal again. But all worth the while.

Back to nature

From there we took off to find some more autumn colours. Outdoor is just so much more fun…

It was only when we ran out of energy and probably creativity, that we realised it was already 13:00. Time just flies when you are having fun.
