Since she can remember Art (in some or other form) was part of her life.
Tanya studied Interior Design (not decorating) at Pretoria Technicon (South Africa) after which she worked as a graphic artist for 11 years and painted in her spare time. She only recently started painting fulltime and she admits; this is more fulfilling than she ever imagined it to be!
Tanya loves realistic views, vibrant colors and prefer to work in oil and sometimes watercolor. Her work tends to become decorative/expressive at times but this gives a balance especially with the realistic approach she takes. She chooses subjects that relax and sooth. She is inspired by nature and love atmosphere in any painting.
Tanya tries to experiment as much as the medium let’s her and apply it either with a brush, palette knife, her finger or a combination thereof.
