In a valley, surrounded by the hills of  Magoebaskloof, lies Sequoia Garden Retreat.   The garden is a botanical chronicle, named after the Dawn Redwood trees (Metasequoia Glyptostroboides).

These magnificent trees are descendants from the original seed collected in China’s Sichuan province. It is  where the tree was discovered in 1941 and is now grown on our premises.
