Rademeyers zebra portrait – Originally a dairy farm in the 1800s, the Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve is a 100-hectare (247-acre) piece of land nestled between the suburbs of Pretoria East.

The old farm buildings have been converted into a wedding chapel and a restaurant, while the rest of the area is now home to various small game species, including springbok, zebra, blesbok, impala and ostrich. The reserve is also a birdwatcher’s delight and walking routes catering to everyone, from Sunday strollers to avid hikers, are available.
